Her family was a huge force in the military, her great grandfather was in the Navy for 50 years, fought in both World War I and World War II with all 6 of his sons. Her grandfather George Hirstius (Navy World War II veteran) was and will always be her hero even as he watches from above. Let's unite in Keeping America Great!

Michelle authored, illustrated and published this patriotic children's book in response to the NFL kneeling during the National Anthem. Mortified that children were exposed to watching adults disgrace our flag, our country and our heroes, she decided to make a difference. This book is a story of a little star wishing and praying to be a star on the nation's flag someday. During his journey children will learn everything about the American flag and to STAND in honor for our heroes that have made us free. 10% of proceeds go to veterans charities.
